Light Walker Tanks join the Expeditionare Force
« on: February 04, 2010, 11:24:58 PM »
Star Wars miniature Line to the rescue as it were. 2 Droid tank walkers look nice alongside my Mechanified Infantry.

Not to much work to do on them and thinking I'll skip putting them on a base. May have to work in some heavy guage wire on the legs to keep some of the bendie tendancy out of them... hmmm...

What set are these from and what's the actual name of the mini?  Thanks for your help.

The figure is called Dwarf Spider Droid, there are 2 versions out, the ones I bougt came in a package with a couple of other humanoid shaped droids, Super Battle Droid and the Security Battle Droid, loved the walker so bought 2 of the packs but alas, I dont recall the actual name of the package. The walker measurements are 4 inches by 4 inches spread for the legs on the ground and 3.5 inches high to the top of the antenna, top of the sphere is 3 inches.

Those look perfect for this sort of thing!
Excellent! :)

Keep going and yeah, numbers would finish it off.

I've been looking for those for ages for a War of the Worlds project.

Sterling Moose has got Star Wars droid or two in his collection, they work quite well with VSF.
Don't!
