I was trying to decide if the masks the figures are wearing are gas or oxygen masks. I thought what if they were used to inhale a gas and came up with the following

Doktor (insert your own name here) has developed a gas that enhances a soldiers abilities. Taking .45 rules as an example,

Inhaling the gas takes an action, if you like you can dice to see how many turns the gas will enhance the troopers powers for.

Throw a D10 as if throwing for a wound location on the characters sheet and see which attribute the gas effects ie.

throw 2-4, this will increase the soldiers brawn and guts, you decide by how many points. A throw of one which effects the brain attribute will cause the figure to OD and become unconscious, dice as per the rules to recover.

That is a great idea Phil (quickly jots it down to use later).

I'm going to take it one step further though and say that since it's pulp super science there is a chance it backfires. If you roll a one for location, instead of enhancing your BRAINS it actually causes damage to a location.

I like this one a lot. Don't be surprised if Doctor Kroon's Enhancement Gas appears in Super Science Tales.
