I giggled like a girl and wet myself a little.  Thanks for sharing.  Maybe they'll do a giant squid as well.  Colossal Manhattan is a must have.  At 14 inches he'll be about as big as Galactus!

Even Better, did you see the masthead on that site that said "All will be well" 5-12-2010.  It looks like the rumors of a set of Blackest Night models are coming!  That's awesome.

With the scale and quality of the heroclix sets being all over the place, I'll be waiting until some of you bought some to see what they're like.  ;)

That's not a rumor, that was announced last month or so.  They already have shown previews of all the Lanterns.  It's a new starter set.  You can see pictures here http://wizkidsgames.com/.

My local shop owner was slightly taken aback when I placed an order for these. Not because of the product, I just think he was surprised by the amount I wanted.

"One or two cases thanks Phil."

"What?"

Yeah, I think the price is $27.99 and it has seven characters with a rumored 8th.  Plus the map, dice, rulebook etc.  I think he would be a little confused about a case of that. :)

Keep in mind, those are just the digital renders.  They used digital sculpting on the starter set this time.  It's the first release from scratch for the new company so I remain cautiosly optomistic.  They have been saying they are aware of the quality issues in paint and sculpts and are trying fix it.

So, yes, there is a Watchmen HC set coming out. $100 for it. There is also going to be a 14 inch Dr. Manhattan (yes, that is exactly how tall Galactus is with his little head fork things)

Blackest Night starter has the "Ring Deputies". You can see them all on their site now.

DC Brave and the Bold will be releasing this month (One week from today in fact). I have posted a thread with some pics of some of the figures.
