Looks great.  I can't wait to see your tirailleur Senegalais.  Read your blog and enjoyed the photos.  Not to be too technical, but when you mention the size of the canteen you are working on and deciding to make it larger......regiments of the Armee D'Afrique commonly carried a 2 liter canteen that was 2x the size of that carried by the Metropolitan regiments.  So increasing the size would certainly be acceptable.

Thank you very much for all your kind answers

At the moment it is only a personnal project with no intent to sell the figures but if demand grows, maybe in the future

I am currently painting a Tirailleur: we decided to make bodies with separate heads in order to be able to create different type of troops: basically Adrian helmets of course, Gas Masks, Wounded, Bareheads but we will make troops with odd hats ( Tirailleurs, Chasseurs,etc.....).

Of course all these guys should have worn the Adrian Helmet with distinctive badges but to introduce a bit of colour and variety I think we will make the chechia, chasseur headdress.

Other bodies are already in the process I will post photos as soon as I get them from the sculptor

If you hesitate to sell the whole figures I think you will find a demand for the heads with different headgear. I would like to buy some for conversions  ;D

Well I found time this morning to post new photos on our blog: next will either photos of new heads or bodies on the workbench or a Chasseur Alpin.
