[quote author=Galloping Major Talking of DVDs of stories set in colonial North America, (and Indians with captives as we were earlier) I just ordered "Follow the River" (1995 Region 1)...

Do any of you have that one?
[/quote]

I do now, well, hopefully in a day or so :D
Thanks for the head ups on this one.

I hope you'll start with Langlade, Dumas and other like these, expecially some french leaders in native dress  ;D ;D ;D
Piero

Hi Pierro, Nice suggestions, French officers in native dress for sure.

Steve - glad you like them  :)

Barry - you're welcome, my copy arrived, haven't had time to watch it yet.

Cheers,
Lance

A few pictures of some newly painted Mohawk are on the Studio Page:

My own units only get re-enforced occasionally when I allow myself time to paint some - back to sculpting shortly  lol

Just watched The Last Of The Mohicans on TV last night. I'm getting motivated. I only have about 25 settlers & a tribe of 20 natives. Need to starting expanding on that.

It certainly has the look of Gary Zaboly to me. ( I like his stuff, bu then you would probably have guessed that already ;))

Hi
It's, for sure, drawings from Gary Zaboly in "The Annoted and Illustrated JOURNALS of MAJOR ROBERT ROGERS", Purple Mountain Press 2002

I received my copy of this book only yesterday from Amazon and I'm looking forward to reading it having just finished Stephen Brumwell's book, "White Devil: A True Story of War, Savagery And Vengeance in Colonial America".

Thanks Langlade, I knew I'd seen them somewhere, I have that book, among many others so I sometimes forget where I've seen or read things. ::)
I can heartily recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have a copy, probably the best version of Rogers' Diaries of several currently in print, well illustrated with really good additional information - Barry, I think you'll love it  :)
You've reminded me, I have a copy of "White Devil" but haven't got round to reading it yet  :?

Cheers,
Lance
