Not quite...

This is a superfigs mini I converted to look more Wolverine-ish...

I made the claws from cut up bobby pins...took me forever to get them to stay put on the hands...I did them one at a time.

What do you think?

I like it. This guy looks really insane and makes a good villain.
Painting looks good. The base seems a bit large to me !

that's Wolverine's mean little brother, his antipode. Extremely dangerous. Looks good, supervike, like the idea!

I agree the base is overly large...but I was trying to hide the presculpted one underneath which extends past his feet quite a bit.

Still, it was fun to do even with my simpleton paintjob....

Good idea with hte bobby pins.  As a thought for next time, what about cutting a few grooves with a razor saw into the hand to make hte joint more sturdy?  not sure exatly how you did it, but that might create a better bonding point as well.

I like he look of the figure, very well done.  One of these days, my daughter wants to do super heros.  I keep puching it too the back burner till some other things are done.

Yeah, I did groove out little niches between the knuckles with a file...I wish I would have thought about the razor saw though.... The file was a bit too big, and it was hard to keep the groove in between the knuckles.

I angled the bobby pins on the fist side as well, so they would sit flush to the hands.  Then glued and sprayed a bit of super glue accelerator onto each one...It has made a surprisingly strong bond.  I doubt he could cut through adamatium without them falling off, but you can pick him up by the claws with no problem....

He looks beautiful! Really nice job!

I'd love to put him in the gallery on our web site if that's OK?
