I went for the goats as well - nice painting, fine presentation, and for a change a tranquil theme.

Well, I certainly didn't think it would be the goats that would sway popular opinion :D

They are 20mm Britannia by the way, http://www.britanniainkerman.com/brit/frontpage/siteintroindex.htm. They have a really nice range of figures for Afghanistan and the civvies can be used for a wide period.

Thanks for the vote Revford. Your barbarians look really nice as well! Some shots from a different perspective might be nice for a next entry (not that I succeeded in that very well myself... :)).

Good tip there, I'll have to see about some fancier, multi angle presentation for later rounds.  Also more animals.  :D
