An excellent close match in painting, but I think that Killshot had the edge in presentation...

This one is really, really tight... in the end I had to go with the dwarves because, heck, they're dwarves! With muskets, in a couple of cases!

Which company does the dwarves? I've seen them around, can't place them, though.

Wow, really tough call.  I chose the saxons for their cool shields and well done armor, but those dwarves are great, too.

That was hard. I'm giving it to the Dwarfs though based on the faces.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Both are excellent, but better presentation breaks the tie for me.

A great match this one. Both excellent.
Those Musketeer Saxons are such nice figures as well.

Two fantasticaly great entries, but in the end I voted for the Dwarfs as GW usually gets no love.

Though I don't know if those are actually GW figs or not.

I voted for Killshot entry’s. He is, IMHO, one of the best figure painter along with Andrew Taylor… I really like his work.
When I grow up, I want to paint just like them… lol

At £5 for four minis thet are not GW, which is why GW gets no love!

Please note that when I say "presentation", I'm not talking about having a scenic background vs. not having a scenic background, I'm talking about the seam running up the center of the backdrop and the visible barcode and exposed edges, plus the foreground dwarf figure being out of focus in the Dwarf entry. I think it's the attention to the little details that makes all the difference.

This was a tough one for me... both seem very equally matched!  Strong work! :D

I agree though those dwarves are rather beautiful, a very tight match this one.
