Nice! I really like the old school stuff A MK1 Land Raider is the Pimpmoblie in 40K
Oh sure. Everybody's in favor of saving Hitler's brain, but when you put it in the body of a Great White Shark, ooh, suddenly you've gone too far

Epic dreads your first GW figures owned?  :o

Yep, before that the only stuff that I had was Prince August bits an pieces and enamel paints (and all this was fields and we only had sticks to eat and the weather was better in them days etc).

I "discovered" GW via White Dwarf 108, the one with the cover of the Adeptus Titanicus rulebook on it.  Suffice to say that it was a formative moment for a 13 year old nerd.

I scraped together enough cash over the next few months to get a detachment of each epic  dreadnought type and robot via mail order (I was always about the robots/robot suits.  My original epic gaming partner called it my "p3n1s envy": actual men arent good enough for me, only giant robot men will do ;)

Good god man you're making me feel old!  ;)

My miniature collection vintage is making you feel old eh?  It couldnt be something to do with becoming the father of twins recently that might be making you feel a bit past your prime, no? ;)

(Congratulations by the way!)

Gorgeous job on all of it ! How much time did a vehicle take? (I can't imagine highlighting an epic model.. :o )

Thanks.

Its a while since I did those so I cant be certain but it tends to take about as long as a similarly sized 28mm fig.  At a guess, I would think that three of the tanks would take approximately as long as one 28mm.
