3/3 right Cheetor. Several of the HeroClix sculpts are quite useful, only problem is that they are a bit big compared to most 28mm minis..

Can't say I've looked really! I always forget about them, they're sitting in a box in the cupboard waiting for Supersystem to come to the UK...

Heroclix they are! I am actually pulling in a lot of Heroclix and Star Wars miniatures for the Fallout project - the Mr. Gutsy is a Star Wars figure with some pieces added and others shortened.

Besides, I am shorter on funds than I like, and they are cheap.

Wasn't so sure about that CD thing, but your pictures explain it brilliantly!

Good stuff.

Excellent work. I really like the pop in CD idea. What are the boards made from?

It is not quite as effective as I had hoped, but I think it will work well enough. I am also going to have terrain pieces that are not part of the CD system, so that there is not quite as obvious of holes...

And now for some more beasties and no small amount of terrain.

The last of my Feral Ghouls...

And my non-CD based terrain - two sets of the Evil Empire plastic trees painted to work with the terrain boards. I think they will work well for stunted trees.

And my various CD bases - a couple of hills, previously shown, some old Armorcast broken trees, and 3 CDs with attached moss to be grassy knolls and bushes.

Those GW trees are great. I gotta have some at some point.

I don't know about your intententions about the CD-terrain but the three bottom pieces look a bit flat to me.

2" thick pink foam.

Yeah, the moss I used was all the same height, but I am going to mix them up with other stuff, and hopefully it won't be so obvious. I am kinda playing this by ear as I go, and I'm afraid that it shows.

But that's how great things often happen. Let your creativity flow and see what comes out at the end. It's looking very good so far  :D

The scenery is looking good.

I love the radiated zombies.

I have never played fallout (being a technophobe as I am), but it seems to be quite a good game.

Actually, seeing as you were 6 when the first one came out, I'd be somewhat surprised if you had played that one...

 :D

The best part about Fallout 1, 2, and 3 for me is the sly humor combined with pure humanity in the interactions. There is not just a superheroic path or purely evil path, but reactions that are somewhere in between. I tend to get my butt kicked in combats because I spend so much experience on things like speech and perks like Lady Killer, that just open more options up during interactions. And I miss it. So, I am going to make me some terrain, paint me some models, rewrite me some Necromunda rules to fit, and play on!

I wouldn't be too surprised! I started painting miniatures at that age and was playing Warcraft!

I stopped PC games after I was about 14 or 15 though. I'm thinking of getting back into it a bit. I have tried before, but I get so bored with it. Painting minis, I can show off what I've done, PC games are somewhat more... Personal? You can't really show off!  ;D

If your wanting to play Fallout 1 and 2 then get the US versions as the UK ones had children cut out, this made a few quests broken. (they were removed because you can gun them down)

flippin hell!

Hmm, makes sense though, might be why GTA never had kids in it.
