A good mate of mine and I have decided to return to the place where it all started... The second edition of Warhammer way back in 1984.

In order to do this we have decided to build up the forces for the three GW Campaign packs from the mid-80's - The Terror of the Lichemaster, Orcs Drift and MacDeath.

Our aim is to have a large selection of fantasy figures for skirmish games at the end of it all, but it seemed fun to build the forces for the campaign sets as a good way of getting a good selection of models. We both have a few fantasy bits already done, so its a nice way to add to our joint collection.

Our first project was Terror of the Lichemaster, as I have a small selection of Undead, so its was easy enough to do a few more skellies and a few heroes... We have however slightly altered things, and as its nearly 25 years since it came out, we figured a small change was in keeping...

Terror of the Lichemaster's Daughter!

Awesome!
I love the idea behind it and I really would like to get my own copies of those old scenarios. So much more character than the stuff they push out these days!

Your choices of characters are brilliant too. I can't wait to see the other scenario packs reinvented by you!  :D

Superb stuff - lovely minis and paint jobs - particularly like the undead spawn point!!

I've always been intrigued by these campaigns but for some reason never got around to looking into them - look forward to watching this develop...

Wonder what ebay has in the way of old 2nd ed. game books?  :D

Wonderful. Brings back memories. Are you planing Ranlac the Black, Mikael Jacsen and the Bogrls?
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

All due to make an appearance!

Ranlac the Black is on the painting table at the mo! As are the 40 militia to defend Frugalhofen! Not having fun sticking them together...

Yeah they look alright.

I wonder if these scenarios would work with SOBAH?

ANywhere you can get these scenarios other than eBay? I doubt it these days...

Haha!

Yeah I saw them on eBay, but I've been buying far too much recently, especially on the run up to salute!

Maybe when I get into SOBAH a little more...  ;)
