My first atempt to painting a tank for VSF, all comments and tips are HIGHLY appreciated

Very nice start.

I'd touch up around the bolts, you want round shading, not square!
That looks like GW snakebite leather with vomit brown over the top? Try highlighting the edges with bubonic brown.  ;)
I'd make the smoke look dirtier as well!  :)

have you tweaked the rules so that the Italian vehicles go faster in reverse than going forward?   :D

Very nice indeed! Two points I would raise are that the portholes look too bright (blue ink might fix this), and the base is too small. Perhaps look at getting some of the GW chariot bases instead?
