I bought a train!
« on: March 01, 2010, 11:43:06 PM »
And it was only AU$8... actually I bought 2. It was at a shop in Bankstown for any of you Sydney-siders. A $2 shop called Hot Bargain, or Bargain City... maybe Bargain Bargain.

The Box:

The Train:

It also comes with a heap of track. I think it resembles O Scale close enough.

A couple of months ago they had another one or two left if anyone wants me to check!

Nice.  Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

That's cool! Perfect for games of Papa Christmas the Yuletide Enforcer versus the Evil Baniditos Who Steal Presents... will Papa Christmas be able to keep the train running and deliver its precious cargo to the Orphans of San Antonio? Or will Don Carlos De Meani and his mustachioed henchmen end up with all the turkey and trimmings? Mwa-hah-ha...

Or you could, you know, take the decorations off the side... ;)

Nice find. Like Smokey, I'm interested to see where this goes.

You are an gloriously silly man, Christian! That's great!

Tally ho-ho-ho indeed, you should be made to perform in 1930s music-halls for that one!

I have a similar one though chromed plastic and black, think I picked it up form BHS a few years ago for £10. Now thinking of a Deadlands Night train of zombies and those Mantic ghouls ridnig the train after Dewbakuk came up with the idea ;)
