Strange Aeons Magazine
« on: March 05, 2010, 11:26:28 AM »
I just wanted to go to Uncle Mike's website to download the Lurker and Threshold sheets for a con tomorrow (we're going to play and show the game to the crowd 8)) and I first typed in the following address:

http://www.strange-aeons.com/

Interesting! Looks nice with cool graphics. Anyone has more info?

Also, good luck! Hope to see some photos in the coming days!

You see kids, this is how an evil cult is able to spread across the globe as governments sleep, unawares! Gaining new converts through trickery, coersion and stealthy game playing! And now, how it may all go down...

He had a slightly glassy stare and an oddness to his gait as he crossed the hall toward them, lugging his case of gaming stuff and box of strange terrain. Not exactly what any of them had expected to find at a tabletop gaming club. As he reached the table and began unpacking his things the others noted a strange odor...not unlike fresh earth...or the seaside. The smell of wet and decay and mold. He had finished setting up the gaming area, an odd sort of table, with odd little figures. He handed out some sheets and smiled the most hideous smile, "You'll like this..." he whispered, "It's fun..."

Thanx for showing off the game...it is very appreciated.  :)

It's been a good few years since I've read anything about the Cthulhu mythos, though I did read all of the HPL stuff and pretty much all of the stuff written by Brian Lumley and other "modern" writers up to the early '90s. This looks like it could be an interesting way back in... :)

Is there supposed to be more to the site than a flash file saying 'STRANGE AEONS' with differing colours and clips of a comic? That's as far as I could get even with frantic mouse-clicking over the screen.
