I have seen Bob make comments on TMP.
Maybe he is lurking here or maybe he doesnt know about LAF?
Bob knows about the LAF.
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

These are great as usual.  I've been meaning to pick up some of the Pulp figures for years.  How do they size up with Copplestone or other manufacturers? Are they "true" 25's?  Anybody have some comparison shots?

They're 28mm, not 25mm. Pulp Figures match up very well with Copplestone; they're slightly larger than Artizan but not much. Brigade Games & Great War Miniatures figures both match well too, in my experience.

From Pulp Figures own FAQ:
Quote
Q:Are these miniatures size compatible with.......?

A: 28mm Pulp Figures are sculpted to be compatible with the most popular historical miniatures ranges now on the market. They tend to be a bit smaller than the large 30mm fantasy and Sci-fi sculpts currently found in most gaming stores. They are larger than the old 25mm fantasy and historical sculpts popular in the 1980s.

They are nicely compatible with Mark Copplestone's famous 'Darkest Africa' series, slightly larger and more beefy but still compatible with my own 'Call of Cthulhu' and 'Space 1889' work.

Figure height will deliberately vary at times. Heroes and personalities will often be slightly larger than regular soldier and civilian figures.

I've got lots of photos of my Pulp Figures minis, lots of pics of my stuff from other manufacturers, but apparently none with a mix in them. Will have to shoot some... actually, that reminds me I was going to take some comparision shots like that as a review of Blue Moon's pulp-era miniatures. Another project, just what I need.

There's new stuff 'On The Workbench' today. Very nice, too.

I like this new StahlMasks pose better than the original one.
He looks more like a leader with a luger than with the mp40.

I agree with you Almaric - much more the leader, still StahlMasks has got to be one of my all time favorite figures!  I still haven't used him in a game.  Saving his "entrance" for something really special.

Cool.

I always think leader types need to have some sort of presence. The older pose lacked some of that I think, because of his slightly static pose.
