I feel like I should say this for every round this time but again, wow, what a choice. Those Tigermen? Beautiful. These Pulpy villains? Perfect. It was a difficult choice, to say the least.

They are Old Glory, Foundry, & Redoubt. I have an equal number of the Old Glory & Foundry figures in my lead pile all that is needed is the 6 figure redoubt set to make another 20 man unit.

Chinese tigermen - I never knew such things existed.  Now I do!  I wonder if the costumes were as effective in scaring cavalry as the shields were at stopping bullets?

They're real enough, Jim:

Frankly he looks about as scary as Max from Where the Wild Things Are.

Grrr!

I take that back, Max is much more scary.  :)

I played a 28mm Boxer Rebellion game last weekend, and at one point mildly offended one of my fellow Chinese commanders (three of us, three Europeans) by saying, "Are you going to move those guys in stripey pajamas up to support me or not?"

Looking at that period photo, they look even more like pajamas than the figures did!
