Aeronef's at Poundland
« on: March 17, 2010, 05:12:01 PM »
I have just picked up a couple of toy floatplanes at Poundland and intend using the two floats as balloons for the game Aeronef.

Check out details at my Blog for further information.  I though the idea was worth sharing.

Nice find Tony.

I bought a load of Matchbox Blimps for something similar a few years ago....... they are still on my waiting to be started pile.  ::)

Pound shops and corner shop toys are great for conversion purposes.

Good find.

We'll have to get one now, if only for the pig pilot.

"Are you keeping the cute little Piggy Pilot?"

Of course - and he is so very well modelled and painted.

Of course, it goes without saying that the useless gits at the Dudley branch haven't got that toy in stock  >:(

However, I did get some pretty nifty "SUV" type die-cast vehicles that look the right size for 28mm. I'll probably use them as transport for a near-future scientific expedition into the wastelands  :D
