Very nice.

You're starting to flit around projects as much as me. :) I was quite envious of your focus with the Incas, in a strange way I am pleased to see you are human like the rest of us ;D

Lovely job, I have that set too and very nice figures they are.

I especially like the coloured slave. ;D

Tim- They are Redoubt ACW civilians. There is another nice chap holding a straw planters hat, perfect for 1830's Texas..... ;)

It's worse than that - that funny Mr Malamute has even been taking my lunch money to subsidize something called the Boot Hill Empire...  :o

But you can rest assured that I do actually have some conquistadors on my paint desk, half finished. Honest.  ::)

Or indeed 1830s Florida.  :)

Yes, it's a great set - you can find them here: http://bit.ly/bJ5Uhk My only caveat is that a couple of them loom a little over my Foundry Old West civilians, but it's not an insurmountable problem.

Love the preacher! He definitely has that fanatical evangelical look about him  lol

Those are possibly the most "in-scale" eyes I've ever seen on 28mm figures. When they are painted too big, they ruin a figure, but these two chaps are spot-on. Fantastic!

To be fair, a couple of them loom over the others - the yellow woman on that linked picture looks like a very big girl....

That's very kind - thank you! These two actually concluded with a small disaster. I finished them off, picked up the preacher to apply the varnish and dropped him, scratching off a big slice of paint. Five minutes later, I did EXACTLY THE SAME THING with the redeemed slave.

It was not a happy day, believe me.  >:(  :'(
