Anyone Seen or Heard of SS Doom Trooper?

About four years ago I watched this truly crummy (about half a star) movie called SS Doom Trooper.  Its the kind of film where the title gives away how bad its going to be.  Anyway its about this crazy Nazi scientist (Ben Cross) turning a German soldier into an unkillable mutant who then rampages across Northern France killing everyone he comes across, whether they're British, American, French or German.  In the end this American Lieutenant (Corin Nemec) who's leading a version of the dirty dozen manages to kill it with electricity, having tried everything else (machine guns, cannons, bazookas, collapsing roofs, you name it, this thing lives through it).

Apart from some truly awful one-liners and cliches, the film does have at least one good line, where one of the British, having been shot and surrounded by ten Germans manages to say "I'll accept your surrender if the one who shot me in the arse steps forward and apologizes." 

The Germans promptly shoot him.

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone here had heard of it or even seen it?  And if you know where I can get a copy on DVD, that'd be even better.

Appears on the sci-fi channel from time and time...and yes it's dire.

I've seen it. One of those scifi-channel abominations, but still, they're weird war II movies and as gaming inspiration they can still work.

There was also one with gargoyles.

SS Doomtrooper on DVD...Ok, we now know the 8th sign of the coming apocalypse.

I checked Amazon and searched for SS doomtrooper and you can imagine my horror when I got a hit. Fortunately, it was a video three pack that has the "SS" in the title.

There are some movies that are so bad they actually become good....Doom Trooper is not one of those.

LOL funny that you mentions this. This movie was just on scifi channel this past weekend.
When i saw it originally, or attempted to watch it for the first time i just couldnt do it. It was ok, and i like campy B rated movies but i just couldn't do it.  :-)
