I admit it, I voted for my esteemed opponent.  Great work, great miniatures.  Those are Mantic Ghouls doing double duty as Spaaaaace Zombies...?  Very nice figures.  And I love the work on the radar panel of the device!  Great work all 'round.

My entry is a unit of 'Seshep-Ankh's', the Living Images - statues animated by a tiny sliver of the Ka of a To-tanem Artifex in Wargods of Aegyptus.  The ram-guy is a Bronze Khemru, an animated statue from a campaign scenario written by my buddy Clarke Payne last year.  I thought that a unit of animated statues would make a nice 'team', since I didn't have any zombies finished.

Wow, another great pairing, and once again, a difficult decision. Being both a Sci-Fi fan and a guy who does Ancients for a living, more or less, I'm very much impressed with both.

One question for you, NS, if you don't mind. Where's the device from? Or is it a scratchbuild?

Thanks guys, and hat off to you too Alex for such a fine entry! Kind of made me gulp, as I thought you would get the best of me this round!  ;)
Very nicely themed, I love those mythological figures...gotta get me some one day!
(this league is bad for me as it vastly expands my lead mountain!)

@Doc: well, it's not scratchbuilt. I bought it at a second hand market for 20 cents, couldn't resist!
So far I don't exacly know what it is, it says "Hasbro Inc" on the back along with MACAO. It is dated too with a copyright year but I can't make it out anymore due to some scratches, 1987 maybe.
My best guess so far is that it's some sort of backpack/accessory from MASK of GI Joe, possibly a gadget that came with something Happy Meal-ish.

@Lowtardog: the Mantic Ghouls were an impulse buy as I ordered Wargames Factory zombies but they hadn't arrived along with the rest of my order so now I was left without zombies less than a week before they were due!
As I requested for something that could pass for zombies the store owner recommended these and €11/£10/$15 (with store discount) for a box with 10 figures I was saved!

 :D
