Just wondering if anyone is attending Hot Lead 2010 in Stratford Ontario?
This will be the first show I attend. Can anyone give me a heads up what to expect?

They are a great group of guys. Several members are on this board (LAF). Although not a huge con, it is growing (several 100 attendees) and of very good quality. They have a number of very nice dealers, most of whom have a store in the region (London to Hamilton all the way up to North Bay), but not all of them. The games are usually of good quality, the food at the hotel is reasonably priced and very good quality, but you may have to wait as it is a restaurant. You can order and then take your food and tray into the gaming area. It is a friendly convention and you should have a very good time.

Hey Johno! There will be a bunch of LAF'ers there! Myself and Sterling Moose will be there, as well as Rico and a few others. Its a good, quality show with a wide variety of games. If you like miniatures and gaming, you're bound to have a good time. I'll be the 6'5 guy volunteering either at the door or at the bring and by on Saturday. Come over and say hi.

I'll be there, volunteering somewhere and maybe running a Zombie game. Hopefully Chairface and I will have an opportunity to throw some VSF on the table and fight for a small corner of Atlantis, and then of course there's the VSF themed Bring and Battle on Sunday morning. Sheeesh, so much to do so little time!!

See you guys there (perhaps some LAF badges are in order so we can recognise each other).

WOW....I'm in Toronto, and I have great difficulty in finding local gamers/stores.
What a fantastic event. Definitely will attend again next year!
My only regret is not checking this thread (which I created, DUH!) to get to meet you fine folks.

It was an excellent weekend. A good time was had by all and a lot of money was raised for charity.

Sadly, due to time constraints, I did not play anything.
I was there Sat from 10:45 - 12:30ish.
I mainly wanted to check it out and buy (lots of) stuff.

Chairface, i was at the bring and buy table...found 5 mexicans in the $ bin...dunno if you were around
