They're selling the 4" toy range for 99p. Three different kinds of Astro Boy, a Metro City Soldier, a couple of droids that I'm sure could be useful, and the Peacekeeper. IMO it's the only one really gaming-worthy although I'm going to have another look at the little droids tomorrow.

Also they have the big Buzzsaw Samurai for £3.99 (I think), it's about 6" tall and looks pretty cool.

I bought the droid up top. I hadn't noticed until now but that samurai would make a great Ork construct for 40K.

That robot in the first picture has some nice panel lines and details. It would probably look pretty good with a new paint job.

Yep, it was a toss-up whether or not to post this in the VSF or the Future Wars section. I'm sure I've seen the McDonald's Astro Boy toys more than a few times on the VSF board.

I always miss out seeing these deals, my boys head straight to the DS games and Bakugan. I think I deserve to spend some of my pocket money too!

Picked up the droid pack today, the trashcan droid is a bit useless, maybe scenary? The gun droid is good, needs repainting though.

Typically, our Home Bargains only has some sort of glowing golfball things from the Astro Boy movie. No cool robots at all.

My better half has just been in the Bury store and they don't have any.

If Rob or anyone else gets lucky, would they be willing to send me a small Peacekeeper? Obviously I'll pay for it and postage and I'm in the UK.
