Fat Dragon release "Capital City"...
« on: March 28, 2010, 10:02:28 PM »
... a modern cardstock cityscape.

I'm a massive fan of their stuff and this looks to be well up to standard. Hopefully it should fit in with the Worldworks Games city range too.

Perfect for Zombies, Super Heroes, rioting, Swat Team take-downs etc etc.  :D

Some of the buildings look suitable for Gangster era ganes too, though I'm not an expert on 20thC American architecture.

Really nice! Any idea how they match up against WorldWorks stuff?

Sorry, no, but FD's fantasy stuff matches up well to WWG's versions, so fingers crossed!

Yeah, I just got done ordering some WWG (the new mayhem roads and mayhem armory)

I think I'll order these as well.....I love the fact that they can be 'customizable'.

And at 14 bucks...How can I go wrong?

I love all this stuff but it just seems like it's so much work to build. Maybe I'm just lazy  lol

Yes, some of those buildings would work for a pulp city as well. Eliminate the modern bits like street lights, the dumpster, etc. and it is a nice collection of early 20th century buildings.

Will take a look at these definately, though look a little less polished than worldworks

Just got done downloading them....

Have yet to print any out, but looking through the files, I'm really excited about what I got.

I agree, they aren't quite as polished as WWG, but the 'layer' feature they use to make it a bit more customizable setups.

for instance, you can 'remove' features such as road lines or manhole covers.  It gives the whole set much more versatility.

I suppose it's only fairplay to say the jury is still out until I print out a few...but just for the buildings alone, I feel the set is easily worth the low buy in price.
