How to remove Wizkinds Mech from its base?

I've bought an Atlas Mech with 50% discount on sale in my gaming shop and now... Cant find the way to remove it from its base! It glued so well, so I have no Idea how to remove it notharming the mach.I saw than some persons use these mech for their 15mm sci-fi on different base, so maybe someone can give me an advice?

I tried the freezing method once and it works on a basic human wizkid type figure you have to be careful because you can snap it off at the ankles.
Place the figure in your freezer for 1hr or so than carefully snap it off at the base

Ok, so you put it in the freezer for 2 hours.
Now, did you use the freezer to snap it off?   :-)
