Q about the Mirliton Arachnodroid
« on: March 31, 2010, 10:09:26 PM »
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there might have one of these in their collection and be able to answer a query I have about it. It can be seen here:

http://www.mirliton.it/product_info.php?pName=arachnodroid&cName=future-warrior-28-mm

I have just received mine and it has six legs and three body parts, but it just seems like it is missing the underside of the body, it has the eyes part the bit for legs to be attached to and what looks like the top half of the back body section and it just sort of looks like there should be something on the underside to finish the body off. But from the few pictures I can find I cannot see if there should be anything there or not.

If anyone has one can they advise me if this is how the model is or if I might be missing something?

I wasn’t quite sure where to put this Q so have placed it here, if it would be better elsewhere please move it accordingly.

Thanks

I have one from when it was still a Grenadier piece and no, there is no underside to the body.

Yep, I have an old Grenadier one, no underside. Took me a while to work out how it went together.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Well quit tapping into my brain for WM thoughts and you would be fine.  :-)

Hello all,

thank you for the confirmation about the model. I too had problems working out how it went together and needed to refer to the picture to finally crack it is just looked like it was still missing something from the underside. I am glad to know it is not, but I suspect I will do a little bit of work to fill the underside so it seems a bit more complete looking to me. Maybe some laser spinnerets would be in order  :)

Cheers
