How big Owlbears are supposed to be in real life?

Anyhow, very nice paintjob 8)

Well that would also depend on whether it's the European or the North American variety.

Has anyone filmed or even observed the mating ritual involved in owl/bear cross-breeding? I vaguely remember a David Attenborough programme touching on it briefly but, then again, maybe it was Spike Milligan. Is it more likely to be male owl and female bear or vice versa.

Doug

Ps Wonderful models and a fascinating project. Can't wait to see them all.

Thorbjorn, this is coming along excellently!

I am really loving all of these owlbears, I wonder how I could shoehorn them into flintloque.

Perhaps they could be Native Amerkians!  lol

Rob, that actually sounds pretty darn awesome. But I might be influenced here by Thorbjorns work.

Are we to take it you can sing as well as paint and make amazing gaming boards!?  ;)

I thought rhyming later with femur was particularly inspired!

Ooooooh, oooooooooohhhhh!

Phew... I'm done painting owls and owlbears for now. I forgot to paint the mouth of one of them,... but I'll get it done eventually.

Did you use some drybrushing on all those Owlbears, or are they all layered? If layered, you seriously have too much time on your hands...  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Hmmm... my participation in Horisont is beginning to lo look a little doubtful. I have some weird injury in my left heel (it started out of nowhere Monday when walking out from a meeting at work) that hurts like h...., and makes me limp in a way that has started causing me back problems.  :(

I'm staying home today and trying to get an appointment with my GP to get it checked.
