Hmmm... my participation in Horisont is beginning to lo look a little doubtful. I have some weird injury in my left heel (it started out of nowhere Monday when walking out from a meeting at work) that hurts like h...., and makes me limp in a way that has started causing me back problems.  :(

I'm staying home today and trying to get an appointment with my GP to get it checked.
Ahh Nils, that's really not good! You could always just say 'it's only a flesh wound!' ;) Let's just hope it clears up in the next week or so - God bedring!

Well, as part of the orchestration behind the event I'm beginning to surpass surprise and disappointment in these matters. We always expect a 1/10 drop out. With 70 people signed up, we have some way to go yet.

But as far as I can see you have never signed up?  So it's really no problem :)

Yes I did, and I also paid - I'm listed on the participants list on Powerfist. At least the last time I checked. You're confused again!  lol

But I might get over the problem during next week - I went to the GP today and was told it was what google translates into 'tenosynovitis' (seneskedehindebetændelse in Danish), and I got a precription for some pills to kill the inflammation. I never knew you could get that in the foot  :o

EDIT: Yes - I'm number 45 on the list  >:D

Oh there you go with the alcohol card again - I must say that I don't find it funny...
My mistake was due to this mistake: I thought your real name was something else.

'tenosynovitis' (seneskedehindebetændelse in Danish)

Oh dear God! Will you be eating through a tube then?
(isn't seneskedehindebetændelse called tendovaginitis?)

EDIT: Yes - I'm number 45 on the list  >:D

Indeed. I shall see to it.

Tendosynovites is a inflammation of the fluid inside the sheath of the tendon which I gather is what he is affected by. Tendovaginitis is an inflammation of the sheath essentially they are one and the same. (Getting some use from being an out of work physiotherapist at last ;) ) Anyway you can get it wherever the tendons are long and need a protective sheath as they slide over other anatomical structures.

Well, I walk almost normally, again, thanks to something I suspect of being strong rheumatism medicine (I was told not to use any other drugs alongside it), and some stretching.

If things develop the right way, I should still land the dropship in Esbjerg Friday evening.

With my camera. And maybe bringing a Strange Aeons scenario, if I feel I have the time to pack it, and the energy to run it.

About the medical lingo, I have no clue as to what things are called other than what online translators can do for me - been out of University for almost 20 years, and have no proper da-en dictionaries other than 'Goldendale's' which are not worth taking out from the shelf.

Google doesn't even seem to recognize the word 'tendosynovites' - not that I doubt it to be correct, just that some jerk probably misspelled it when giving it into the translator...

OK. Back on topic.

With the owlbears and wound markers completed, do you have it all ready, now? Or will you be frantically painting up somthing during next week?

Roman testudo!

Very nearly finished with this project. Hope to paint the nests, church and gravestones tomorrow. And then into the void!
