I am still working on the steam tank but my luxury budget for the month has been eaten up so I have no primer to enable me to start painting it up. :?

This has enabled me to start yet another mech based project. :D

The start of a steam walker based of this doodle of mine

This version is armed with a mortar

Made from kids vitamin bottle, green stuff and assorted bits and pieces and odds and sods.

The legs are being worked on as is a boiler made from a reclaimed party popper! I need to go back and play with the green stuff.

Interesting concept! It makes a nice change for a one-man walker to have four instead of two legs. Much less chance of falling over  lol

Is the inventor an ancestor of a certain WWII Home Guard Captain by any chance?  ;)

I was inspired by certain references to Dad's Army. TV was background noise while i was doodling (TV is evil!)

I have added some legs, the third or fourth attempt at legs for this.

The Mk1 version is almost finished.

Getting this far I'm not sure that I like it, so some thing for me to consider for a Mk2 version.

1: Size/height, needs to be reduced in size, preferably cut in half.
2: Greenstuff/Armour, need to work with this, practice makes perfect.
3. Legs, well, something needs to be done. :)
4. I like the boiler. I need to add more copper and brass to make it look likes its hunting steam around.
