The Mexican army has arrived...

Basic soldados and command figures representing Santa Anna's army in the Texas campaign of 1836.

Marching Soldados

Charging Soldados

I have asked Matthew to make a couple of alterations, (add bayonets) so these will not be in the web shop for a couple of weeks.

Up next Cazadores, artillerymen and more command figures.

A few Weeks?   :)  Good, I need to wait to next payday   lol  (2 weeks) because I spent the original $$$ on a certain book and Aeronef.   ::)

For small games maybe  ;)  a few standing (on guard duty or just "waiting",) walking, or even sitting might be useful for Zorro's Grandson  :o type games.

Gracias,   8)

Not my period but what fantastic sculpts. Matthew Bickley has definately established himself amongst the best for me.

Best of luck with these, hopefully we will see lots of painted examples when they hit the streets.

I said they were worth waiting for. But why bayonets? They only break off in the end!

As usual, great stuff.  I love the continuing personality of these minis!  The drummer holding his shako while running is just great.

Hi Nick,

These guys look fantastic and due credit to the designer and you for tackling this genre when it has been repeated many times in the past. I love the charging drummer and nco.

I can only imagine what they are going to look like with a coat of paint, but I for one will look forward in coating these lovely miniatures with some paint in the future.

What I'd like to see is some sort of rule set for this genre that allows for a few command figures, personalities and scores of bayonets based on a similar line as two Fat Lardies and their Sharps practice (SP). Mind you SP would not be out of place for this genre due to the weapons etc.

Great work Nick and my deepest thanks for your involment in the genre.

Helen

Best wishes,
Helen
