These figures are great!  Are you planning on expanding the range?  I've always wanted to do the Mexican American War but there were never any figures that really grabbed like these.  I would like to see more Mexican Infantry and Cavalry and Americans Infantry and Dragoons.  A young Bobby Lee and U.S. Grant Personality Set would be fantastic.

They are nice, not got my mits on the Mexicans yet but the other stuff has been outstanding. I too would like to see some Mexican American war stuff one day.

No plans on doing the Mex/American war at present. I will expand the Mexican army of 1836 to include cavalry, more infantry in skirmish poses, and some infantry in white cotton summer uniforms with shako covers.

Works for me.   :-*  And I don't even fight the revolution between Mexican authorities and Texian rebels.    ;)

After you're done with those I need to find a company that makes 1800-1820's Alta California civillian and soldier figures in a size and style I use.  Now that would be a niche market.  Might have to go with plastic 1/72nd figures...   :o

Your great figures are what I will use until I decide to go that version of insanity because, other than nut cases like me and specialists Like RockyRusso perhaps, most people would be deliriously happy with your figures and not worry out what would appear to them as a few "quibbles" in appearance.   o_o

Back on topic, I am looking forward for Cavalry very much.    8)  :-*  :-* Artillery less so but must try and be complete, no?   :D  I need to go back and get those vaqueros before I forget again.   8)

Gracias,

Glenn

I see from the Boothill that the miniature soldados are off to the caster?   :)

From website:

"The good news is I received the modified greens from Matthew ( to include fixed bayonets) These will go off to Griffin Moulds this week and should be cast up and in the webshop in about two to three weeks."

Guess I have one more chance to order some other figures before I order some of these...   ::)  Just missed my 60th birthday.   lol

I think these will be as nice as the other figures from Boothill miniatures. :-*  Always nice to expand the forces. 8)

Gracias,

Glenn

... and Viva Malamute! ;)

Just a small request though. Could you post a picture of one of the actual casting since, if I understand correctly, bayonet have been added to these "green figures preview".

Patience ;D  ;)

Pics of the castings will be up this weekend but as some people have been waiting I added them to the store with the green pics as a stop gap

Nice to see more of Matt's work, Nic. They are nice, I am finding it harder to resist with each new release....

Ai Caramba! Those are what I'm really after.

The line infantry are lovely and will be very useful, but those Cazadores are my favourite Mexi troops! The Mex 21 Regt deal looks very enticing, but there are too many other odds and sods I need first.

My wife has bought into my suggestion that I order some Boot Hill stuff for Father's day, so if I order twice as much value-wise as she suggests, then tell her there was a special offer, I'll get away with a decent boost to my forces and only have to pay for half of it. She thinks she's had a bargain and I get extra toys. Get in!  ;D

lol
