French Light Infantry
« on: April 05, 2010, 09:30:06 PM »
A couple of skirmish units, figures are Front Rank.

They should have been from 8e Regiment d'Infanterie Legere, but I confused my sources during the paint job and didn't have the heart to put them right,  :-[  so now they are a 'generic' unit.

Those look great!!  Generic or not, they are painted up far better than my light infantry unit....mine are on bases and primed....just waiting to get painted!! I have a ton of Front Rank figures...great looking figures...especially when painted.

Thanks for sharing.

I love painting Front Rank and it looks like you do too. Very nice.

Lovely figures! You've got me thinking "Sharpe" when I really should be concentrating on Zorro   :?

Don't tell Malamute!   lol

I tend to watch dvds in the background whilst painting and I have had to suppress 3 musketeers, zorro and sharpe whilst painting another project. I soon as it was finished I was eager to get these started!

I am finishing some terrain, revamping others for a Napoleonic skirmish game on Sunday, look out for the aar.
