Fantasy Modeling Magazine at Roebeast's Blog
« on: April 08, 2010, 07:20:30 PM »
Hi everyone,
I've started posting the classic hobby magazine Fantasy Modeling on my blog. FM only ran for six issues but they were inspiring and still have a lot to offer. Full of great writing, hobby articles, and vintage ads Fantasy Modeling will remind you why you're in this hobby:

Thanks for looking!

Yes, absolutely great magazine from the past - I've got all six issues! As you said, I was deeply influenced by articles and pics of this mag, at that time there was nearly nothing else available and gems like that were real highlights!

Thanks for posting this and your good work for keeping the mag alive on your website.

Looking closely at the picture on the cover you posted I can only say that the quality of miniature painting has sure come a long way! I remember the mag - wish I had managed to keep the copies I had. Good to see them again.

Its shame magazines like this arent still floating around, ide love to see more magazines dedicated to fantasy/sci-fi models and wargames instead of White Dwarf.

Excellent stuff
