Nice figures and painting, but my hand would have been shakier than yours and my wife would have given me "the Look!"

Looks like the pirate girl from that Caldwell picture - so my bet would be Dark Sword Miniatures, since they are the ones who immetalize these artworks, nay?

But then, if this indeed is the case, I am curious: My own Dark Sword minis are way smaller than any Reaper ones, so is this a matter of different sculptors on both sides (maybe a larger Dark Sword and a smaller Reaper?), or has it come that far with this world that clever basing and an excellent paintjob detract so much from size difference? ::)
Significant.

The Reaper one is the usual big 28mm scale and the other figure is in fact as big as she seems. This is why I´d say she isn´t Darksword (I have a couple of those very tiny ones too), although she might indeed be a sculpt from that Caldwell painting which is usually Darksword´s way.

You´re brilliant and I outed myself as an ignorant...well everybody: She is from Darksword and won´t go well with the tinier examples from that brand.

What eyes?  Oh yeah, must have missed those somehow  lol The eyes are of course superb  :)

Very true - lovely brushwork! I daren't buy too many nudey ladies - even my Darkest Africa female warriors got me an odd look. Luckily I had the first few minutes of Zulu to hand to prove boobies often really are allowed to jiggle around in Africa  lol
