All Bullets and Blood --
« on: April 11, 2010, 09:25:03 PM »
I had a chance to catch part of a 3-way game being played over the weekend --

(Above: In the middle of the table is a new terrain piece I put together last week from some basic Hirst Molds blocks.)

(Above: Cameron's characters concentrate their fire at the enemy lurking in the scaffolding, but find themselves being flanked by yet another opponent.)

(Above: The temple entrance is visible under the scaffolding from this view.)

(Above: Here is a decent view of the new wooden scaffolding piece I also put together last week.)

I didn't get to see the end of the game, but everyone was having a lot of fun with the new scenario and terrain pieces. I'll try to get some better pics of the terrain posted soon.

THANKS!

I dig it.

Great temple set-up.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Me too.  Love the temple and scafolding!  Nice uniformity to the terrain color palette.

Great looking terrain and figures. I particularly like the scaffolding. Looks quite easy to make. I am going to "borrow" your idea for myself as I have been trying to find some decent looking pictures in order to make some for myself...yours are by far the best that I have seen!! Thanks for sharing.

I dig it.

Great temple set-up.

lol   Yes, you have correctly identified this new temple as the center piece for The Dig scenario.  Sharp eyes there, Mr. Peabody!    ;)

The Dig is one of the scenarios available to download off of the playtesters site. If you are interested, feel free to check it out at --  http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pulpalley/

The base mat is just a cloth I found on sale at a fabric store. It cost me about $9 for a 6'x4' piece. It is shiny-gold on one side and has this cool two-tone earthy look on the other side. I'm guessing it might have been used for drapes or curtains, but not really sure.
