Mystery on the Waterfront (Chapter 2)
« on: June 17, 2007, 03:57:05 AM »
The second part of our .45 Adventure campaign game will be on Wed. I spent a little bit of today getting the board ready and wanted to share a couple of photos. Some stuff still needs to get painted but I should be able to get that done quick enough on Monday or Tuesday.

After the game on Wed. I'll add more photos to the Gallery .

I also will have a write up of all the events to keep you up to date with all the action in the forum.

Wow, operator. Wow. The buildings, are those from a paper model company? In that case which?

THe building(s) on the right are cardstock. All four are attached together so you only ever get 2 walls for each building. They are from The Virtual Armchair General's Mean Streets line. I mounted mine on black foamcore and recessed most of the windows and doors (or removed the doors entirely to build my own). I also added additional details of my own like the wood trim around some of the doors and the skylight and roof building. I also built it so that the top comes off and models can move inside.

The building on the left is the Plasticville firehouse. I cut and glued on a brick pattern to turn it into a warehouse. The I added the wood trim around the bay doors.

I like that one more than the cardstock building(s)....though the overall scenery is just so incredible neat.
Well done ..and I'm eagerly waiting to see/read how your game goes

Now between this terrain here, Matakishi's and some Harbor tutorial in NQM... oh the possibilities

Chapter 2 is just a reference to the second campaign game. You can see pictures from that in the same Gallery on the website.
