They look GREAT !

Please paint the bores of the weapons black !!!   (one of my pet peeves)  You will be surprised at how much more deadly a single dot of black can make them look.

Your paint on the Eindekker is just spectacularly fine !  Which company makes that model, please?

Lovely work! Having looked again, I agree with Chick - your painting skilla are more than equal to putting the bore into the gun barrels and the figures would be even better. The plane is superb - I particularly like the wood grain on the prop.

My only minor criticism is with the HMG crew. The loader seems to be too far from the gun for his belt of ammo to fit in. I don't know if there's any way to either lengthen it or move the figures closer, but that would again improve what are already first class models. Possibly the bases (cents?) could be cut with a dremel so they match up?  :)

Anyway, please post more when you get them done.

Lovely stuff, the westwind figures are on my painting desk at the moment. Like Rob I would like to know where the the Officers came from.

Great looking plane and pilot.  Where did you get the pilot?  Thanks.

Excellent figures and painting! I may splash some cash in Westwind's direction myself, shortly.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I noticed that the gun barrels went painted after i posted the pics, they are there now. The plane is a Morane G made by Maquette, which I picked up for a few dollars at a hobby shop.  I now know why I got it so cheep, it is a crappy model.  If another company makes them I would by that one and not this one, by hind sight is 20/20.  The pilots, both standing and in the plane are from copplestone. The one in the plane is actually on top of a cork to put him at the right height. The 4 officers are from west wind and so is the officer w/the double barrel gun.  The other one is from Brigade games WWI Africa line. For the mg, I based them for the rules we use, which casualties have to be removed, other wise I would have put them all on one base.

Thanks again for the comments

Justin
