Two members of the Sacramento Bund.  The "Snipers" that killed Natasha.  Their faces are covered to prevent idenification as they fear retaliation by Red agents.

Some of the armored cars used in the Freeport fight.  This is how they appeared before the battle.

Doc, what other rules are you trying out?

BTW, we figured for the KDF, all the armored cars needed to either have #3 The Intimidator on them, or be painted like the General Lee from Dukes of Hazard.

;) Hah! Actually, I was thinking that the "Beverly Hillbillys" type vehicle being sold by Blue Moon could make a great "kentucky technical" if mounted with a proper machine gun;)

We experimented with a set of rules called "Heroes of the Russian Civil War", which is a variation of Brother Against Brother (one of my favorite rulesets). They worked very well, but the armor rules were tweaked a bit after the first couple rounds. (The general belief being that armor shouldn't be quite as weak as it is in T&T, but at the same time, it shouldn't be impossible to kill.) One of our guys, the resident Commie (yes, that's you, Baldrick) has suggested combining T&T with the armor system used by the Iron Ivan rules system.

I'm sure we'll figure it out. Plenty of time, and the game setting works very well. Just a matter of finding a set that we can all agree on. The scenario for the con is going to be playtested "formally" in just a few weeks. Just need to finish up more terrain. Will let you know how it goes.

Leadfool - love your figs and vehicles:)

Indeed, T&T is a bit difficult with vehicles, as I realised that the improvised armoured railcar was derailed by a lucky rifle salvo....

but the post 1930 rules from SCW supplement should do

The rules from the SCW supplement, unfortunately, don't really change the quality of armor, nor do they account for the fact that a rifle  or pistol in T&T can still disable an armored vehicle.:( They primarily add the "Modern" and "Old" distinction between various tanks, in addition to several army lists.

Alfrik -

The game is on Saturday, at 6pm. Game title is, "Decision at La Grange, 1934"

I may have a bit of different reading to that....
I recall that post 1930 regular vehicles can be harmed by HMG and explosive shells only....

IIRC this is correct with regard to armoured vehicles. 'Soft' vehicles are still vulnerable to ordinary weapons though. I could be wrong though.  ;)

You are correct
soft and improvised AC

but this is realistic, or not?

Anyway, if some people like their vehicles tougher, why not?

I agree with the Doc when it comes to WWII - in this case T&T would certainly need a vehicle upgrade or it can't be used for that period

Now here is where growing up in the back woods in a heavily armed culture helps ;)

Cars are fully suseptible to firearms, though the odds of taking the engine out with a single hit are low.

Boilerplate can be penetrated with the average hunting rifle if it comes straight on, even a double layer won't stop all rifle fire, but will deflect glancing shots.

And yes, shooting old cars remains a popular pass time here.
