Stuck at home so set myself a challenge.
« on: April 16, 2010, 08:47:04 AM »
Well this morning I was stuck at home so I decided to set myself a challenge and see what I could build in under 4 hours  (well 3 hours and 43minutes if were going to be precise)

With trusty Hot Glue gun heating up I got cracking and came up with this.

yeah there not brilliant but it killed some time.

For 3 hrs 43 Minutes they are stunning :-*
It would have taken me that long just to decide what to build. lol

Are you including the paint job in your time as well?

Yeah that includes the paint job,   sprayed black and just drybrushed up with different colours.   Its a nice day so stuff is drying pretty fast.

Very nice ... would have taken me a week to do the same thing ... I know 'cos I built an Old West Town in time for Overlord and it took bloody ages !

Surprised that you had the time if the little bunny was at home.

Stuck at home for 4 hours and you got that done  :o Me, I'd have had 2 hours of ebay and forums, 1 hour of DIY TV whilst pretending to iron family clothes then 1 hour of shuffling minis around the painting table......maybe with the end result of basing a couple  :-[

Very nice, however, never say you are stuck at home on a nice day when you have time that you can use wisely for building terrain, painting figures or gaming!! I wish I had some free time to do that right now..... :?

Incredible given the amount of time.
I wish I had that focus...or that amount of spare time...or a smaller lead pile...
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

WHAT??? 4Hrs??? Is this the start of a "speed building" challenge? lol If so - You Win!!! Took me 4 weeks to do a set of western buildings for a model RR set up. Yours look pretty damned good - especially like the aged appearance of the wood siding.
