Defining a turn question
« on: April 28, 2010, 05:23:25 PM »
Mike,
Our small group tried our first game last night and stumbled over a basic concept, the definition of a "turn", which is somewhat open to interpretation in both the full rulebook and the introductory kit.

Basically, if you have multiple models in your faction, does one side nominating a single model (or possibly 3 models, using command) constitute one full turn - or do you go back and forth between players, nominating ALL active models on the table, until each model has been nominated/activated once.

We played with the concept that a single activation could constitute a completed turn for one side. In doing so, of course, we found that benefited single powerful characters such as the Maniac, which could be activated repeatedly, while weaker civilian opponents - also activating one at a time -- seemed even weaker.
Thanks in advance for your clarification.
Prof Challenger, I presume?

Hey Gorillacrab,

Your groups interpretation is correct. Once all the Nominated models have gone that is your Turn...then the opponent...then a New Turn where you are free to Nominate whomever you choose...

Thanks UM,
Btw, we played the game with Mr. Peabody and relished the sheer pulpiness of it all.
