US National Guard (for my zombie games)
« on: November 29, 2010, 01:06:49 PM »
Hi all, I recently finished painting up some Mongrel Minis for my zombie games, they are US soldiers in 1980/90's kit, which I will use as US National Guard.  :D

My blog link, if you want to follow or just check out... its all about Zeds at the moment.

they can also be used for Navy and US Air force security, they still use the BDUs and DCUs some times. But they are slowly being fazed out for the horrible urban gray patterns they are issuing now.  lol

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Nice BDUs - the webbing/faces might benefit from a quick Devlan Mud Wash, to bring out some more definition, but they are certainly ready to shoot some zeds.

Very nice. This type of camo isn’t as easy as it look to paint. Great job 8)

Thanks guys for the compliments, I'm happy with how they turned out.

@Akula - I usually use Ogryn flesh to shade white flesh and devlan mud to shade packs and various other items, I have done this but the lighting has drowned the shading out in my pics, thanks for the advice, its always appreciated :)
