I like the armed guys, but then, they ARE part of a rather large MOB of anarchist thugs!  lol

Although I'm certain you'd like something in your half of the US, I have to point out that Cold Wars ain't bad.  I'd love to get there next year.

They look great but 2700 miles is a bit of a drive for a weekend.  May be some day I can talk the wife into a combined trip of fun for me and site seeing/shopping for her (she has no interest in gaming unfortunately).

Missed a few things but got most of what I wanted

Redoubt Trojan Wars; some 40 figures for starters. Despite being 10 years old these figures are still some of the best ever made. Interest got rekindled and that's the result. Small back order as well.
The new French Indian War scalping packs and Death of Wolfe.Very good.

Musketeer: all the new goodies. Really glad to see Bill again and doing well. Looks like a man reborn.

Ground Zero Games: about a £ 100 worth on figures Jon finally convinced me that Stargrunt is best played in 15mm. Let's say I believe him.
While at his stand I couldn't resist that nice shanty town. Another £60.

Empress Miniatures Just a few new packs- Milicianas and Republican Command- a few Falangist packs for conversion and several head sets.
Love those resin buildings but was unable to carry them home on the Eurostar and all the cars were choc a bloc full. In the end we decided against leaving a few club members stranded in London lol

A few books including the new WAB.

Hasslefree Just a single figure I really wanted. Alright it's a naked lady/goddess. Happy now? ;) Unbelievably friendly service. Wish I could use more of their figures.

Gripping Beast Plastic Vikings.

Since Foundry wasn't there a few quid stayed in my pocket. Not a bad thing since I prefer to do business with DaveT anyway. Probably wouldn't have bothered  to go searching  through their boxes.

A bit disappointed with the new Reiver Casting IWI and VBCW . Didn't buy. Afterwards regretted it since I've ' saved' worse figures. But then I had just seen and bought the infinitesimally better Musketeer figures.

Plastic Perry Hussars; just 1 box for my Irish Invasions project.

Searched the whole place several times top to bottom for Old Crow. Didn't find them . Please don't tell me they were there.

Brigade Models; the new Belgian dog carts. Chauvinistic ? Who? Me?

A few other odds and ends not worth mentioning.

Didn't go to the Bring and Buy. I'm pretty sure my insurance policy doesn't cover such things. Friend of mine went in and got himself a sweet deal on some Star Trek figures. I'm sure he'll eventually enjoy them after his ribs are healed.

Worthwhile trip and especially since I met a lot of old friends. Oh, and our club participation game won a nice trophy.
Definitely will be back next year.

I didn't think the B&B was that bad this year. Not as busy as usual.

I think it's done in a very non-British way! I started at the end and queued to view everything basically! No-one was having it, so I began to jump in where people left... I have lots of experience from all the front-row death metal gigs!!!  lol

Didn't find anything on it though. My girlfriend bought the WOW boardgame, then we got home, tried to play it and got half way through setting it up before we got bored!!!  lol

Is that the guy from the Aviva adverts?

Is it aviva?

'Got it from Merthyr, Bargain!'.
'If I'd have bought more, it would have been even more of a bargain!'.

Hi All,
Being behind one of the trade counters I only had limited time for shopping but manadged to pick up some 80mm fruit trees from Mutineer Miniatures 10 sheets of steel sheets from Magnetic displays to fit in the Really usefull 4/9 Ltr Box (for the open plan lids for my Russian 100 mm stuff) oh and lastly 3 mugs from the show itself bit of a tradition im afraid.

Tom.
