More 1:56th scale vehicles for Pulp, Bob, RCW
« on: June 10, 2007, 05:26:12 PM »
Hi All,

Well, it's been a busy weekend!  I have posted images of the new Ford Tfc amored car up on our site:
http://homepage.mac.com/brentdietrich/companyB_greens.htm

Both the Tfc and the Model T pickup also on that page, should be available at Historicon as kits in July.  I'm going to try to keep these close to the retail pricepoint of the other model T's ($13 to $15)  but I'll have a better idea after the casting qoutes.

Also, you can see the progress on the Citeron B2!  A thought on these...I'm thinking of also making a late model set of tracks and casting both sets of tracks in metal and offering them as a sperate set of accessories.  That way, those of you who love the Lledo models and others can scratch build your own halftracks.    Still debating resin versus metal on that one...  Metal is nicer...but only makes sense if there was a pretty good demand for them.

Hi Brent, This is cool  :)  I like the first vehicle as I did have a 1/76 model of this car and I kept the painting guide. This car was used in the Russo-Polish War if I'm not mistaken.

The second car looks fab too.

Thankyou for sharing your projects to us.

God Bless

Helen
Best wishes,
Helen

Hey Brent! Love the TFC, that's a dandy little armored car. Good luck getting these in order for Historicon!

Very nice indeed!

Oh, any chance of a sneak peek at the armoured train you're doing?  :D

Just love the Citroen - can't wait!  As for the later tracks - could be very useful as they could be used to scratch build the converted armoured versions used by 21 Pz Div in Normandy (not BoB I know, but another pet interest of mine).
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Thanks for the comments..

Helen, you are correct on the Tfc.  It was a Polish rebuild on the standard Model T.  I'm sure most folks can come up with some sort of scenario to explain them in China for game purposes!

On the Armored train...now that the ford is done, I'll be finishing the Citeron and Armored train over the next few weeks.  I'll post some train pics as soon as I get it looking finished.

More pics soon!

I can't wait for the armoured train!

I've been thinking about scratchbuilding one for ages but never built up the courage to try.

What gauge track will it run on? If it's S gauge there may be problems for UK / European gamers getting hold of track as it's not available over here.

Are you planning to make track sections too as that would really help.

Lovely work. Keep it coming!

Here is a painting chit to assist folk who wish to paint their Ford TFC in this pattern.

I repainted a Corgi Rolls Royce armoured car in a scheme just like this for my Bolsheviks. It looks very cool (at least I got lots of 'oohs' and 'aahs' from the guys at my local club).
