by cons I'd like to know what you've done with the river please

The river was made by using a blowtorch to create the shape and then levelling out the river bed with Polyfilla.
 It was painted using various acrylics and  paint pots from the DIY shop in a green /blue colour. Finally it received two coats of Woodland Scenics Realistic Water.

Looking at the layout picture I think it is time to retire to the drawing room. Starting to look a little cramped in the parlour old boy ;D

How does the river cross the boards? Straight across or Diagonally from edge to edge

Straight across, in a wiggly 's' shape.

Great stuff, Nick. I have a feeling that there are a couple of hebes in the garden that need pruning!
