Not sure if the uniforms chnged but Stonghold Miniatures had some very nice greens on show a while back for the 1905 Russo-Japanese war a while back and I think Redoubt have started making a range now as well.

Stronghold's webpage is one of the least helpful I have ever seen. Do you know where I can find any images of the minis?

Amen to that, my friend. If anyone happens to know of a source for photos of their stuff, I'd be interested, too. It's a nightmare to navigate.

I tracked them down at a show, cash in hand ready to buy loads, but made a very hasty exit wallet intact.

The Redoubt Japanese are just the Boxer ones relabelled which is a shame.

I would love some Russo Japanese in winter gear but that doesn't help your search for WW1 cavalry.

It reenforces my impression that webstores which do not show their goods properly have a reason to.

A shame. Perhaps Copplestone's Chinese can be converted.
