Wolves in the Night (AAR)
« on: May 10, 2010, 04:19:25 PM »
I ran a little Weird War Two skirmish game this past weekend.

The scenario involved a group of rag-tag Russians trying to escape from the Bialystok pocket on 8 June 1941 – just two weeks into the German invasion. Under the light of the full moon they tried to find their way through the German lines in the woods…

We used Savage Worlds: Weird War Two. A Full report and loads of photos can be seen at Savage Timmy’s Playhouse:

Cool 8)

The German seem to be from Crusader Miniatures but where are the Russian figures from?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Cheers!

Yes, the Germans are Crusader. The Russians I have are a mix of Artizan Designs, The Assault Group, Crusader, Bolt Action... and maybe some others that I can't think of off the top of my head... In this action I think the Conscripts extras were from the Assault Group, The Sniper and Sergeant are Artizan Designs and the medical aide was Bolt Action...?
