Hi... maybe not the ultimate way for rivets but my favorite for the next models I build:

Halfpearls from nailart stores ;)

600 perfect 1mm half spheres without sprues, ready to pin and glue... gives the model some fancy colors too...  lol

I discovered half-pearls a few years ago, but couldn't find sizes small enough. 1mm is perfect. I'll have to look for them here in the US.

I've been looking for such things for the last 2 years. Of course, nails.....

now, what do I do? Buy some or rob used ones and end this really bad tasted fashion?  ;)

They're 1mm hemispheres that chav types glue onto their fingernails as 'nail-bling'. Instead of gluing them to your fingers, you could glue them to models as rivets.
