Some Royalist horse
« on: May 10, 2010, 10:14:06 PM »
Ok, in the weekend I was a bit depressed, upset by some friends behavior and unable to write anything reasonable for chapter 2 of my disseration so I decided to conentrate on something creative...

I had bought a box of Warlord Royalist Cavalry at Warfare in november and decided to have a try....

comments are welcome.

Mmmm. Excellent. I'm not that keen on the figures, but you've made them look very good indeed with that paintwork  :)

to be quite honest when I was building the first I had the same reaction... (maybe I was in bad mood... I do not know) then I forced myself to paint the first and started to like it, then the second... then I have 8 ready :) next week end I will do the last 4 horse and riders... and my first box will be done (now I have to figure how to take them back to Italy in august!). I am thinking I will get a battalia box at partizan... nice way to buil a cheap army. And they are not overly heavy to carry back to newark from kelham  :o

Of course I will add some renegade and bicorne... but at the moment plastic is right in my price range...

The only quibble is that everyone has looong hair!

I agree, really good paintwork, quite an achievement for a weekend.  8)

Perhaps your annoying friends should be encouraged to more of the same, you'll have an army in no time  lol

You should do something creative more often. Nice work
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Thanks for the words  :)

I hope this friend will recover her head... do not like what she had done! :?  But Definitely I will poaint some more... those days... just remember when I am in London like now I cannot paint so much as I do in italy (holiday breaks are for that purpose, if I have not organized (my) home invasion by friends!  lol ).

For this week I want to point some eureka force recon I have bought at salute and another perry french  hussar.  Next batch of royalists will be scheduled for the week end.
