A 1934 BMW R7 a nice looking Bike  :D

That is a nice looking bike but I don't think so, the guards aren't in the right place.

Is it a Rudge Whitworth? (Rudge 4 as a specific)

Or is it this Russian thing (which I've never seen before, Google's great)

So many projects..... so little time.......

Could it be a 'fantasy' bike inspired by the picture on the cover of an interwar edition of Popular Mechanics. The bike in question had a sort of carapace from the riders seat backwards*.

Is this what we used  to call a 'droodle' when we were kids?

If it is I think it is two Mexicans taking a piss behind a fence. :)

This is not the bike I'm making right now, although it might be my next one. Seriously beautiful bike:

Maybe too many swoops for me to make out of plasticard though.  (Those fenders would be hell.)  Might be more of a putty job.

You're very warm with this guess though, in that the bike I'm making also has an enclosed engine.

It's a real bike.  I'll post another picture when I've had a chance to knock together some more parts.

I have a neighbor rebuilding a Panther (@1935?) that he found in a North Carolina barn.

I think it's an English racing bike.

That Royal Enfield is the closest yet.  I can't Google that thing, even though I know what it is.  Where did you find the pic?

Here's a newer pic showing recent progress:

I haven't made any more progress on the bike, so I'll just tell you what it is.  White Knight came closest with his Royal Enfield guess.

It's an Ascott Pullin, from around 1928:

I've been too busy to work on it, but I glance at it longingly every day.

No.  Hinterland stuff started getting in the way.  However, I'll try to get back to work.  I really want to make copies and commission a VBCW-type rider for it.
