Now I've started making the terrain for the boards.

There should be three in total. All of them will have stalagmites... and thanks to superscenic I've found a way to do them quick and easy.

Punch a few holes in some sand and add plaster:

These were done using the .. blunt.. end of a brush and a toothbrush.

They are "the big ones" and I'm going to make some smaller ones now. I hope to make them a bit pointier though. Doesn't matter that much,... but still - why not try.

Those will look really nice on a sandtable.

Looks great and unless you permanently fix them to the table I think we can find loads of ways to use them in games.

Jury is still out on that one, but I think I'm going for small 4-5-6 clusters on board cutouts.

Thanks!

After all this terrain business (cyberfire, vsf and jungle) I'm gathering up some wanting to paint miniatures and not terrain again.. funny how the fall/winter always get's me in the spirit of VSF.  lol

Hehe yes. I tried hard to come up with something both crazy and VSF - and an intercontinental underground railway seemed to fit the bill.  lol

Well, why not? everybody knows the Earth is hollow, so it is just a matter of finding the right tunnels  :)
