I saw this beauty in the flesh too and I have to say the pictures do not do it justice. There is so much detail I'm sure I've missed some of it even after hours of drooling over it. It is a truly magnificent building project and as others have said worthy of some sort of award.

Many congrats to gamer Mac, his brother and Oldskoolrebel!

I stated that I didn't think my back would be up to playing hunched over this, as I watched it being built.

I should find it an honor, were I given the opportunity, to deal with the excruciating pain and physical therapy following an all nighter playing such a game..

AWE INSPIRING!

Ha! I believe that the Zeppelin was called a lovely dolls submarine at one point during the BLAM weeked....

Or some kind of pulpy secret lair or fortress with lots of rooms, traps, etc.

The scenario was great fun (Even though I lost thanks to Captain Bloods most unchivalrous act of pushing my female character out of the getaway plane without the aid of a parachute ::))

That'll teach you to get into my escape plane while I was off fetching the keys... (Actually, the best bit was throwing her out twice - the first time she managed to cling onto a strut and climb back in. The second time she plunged into the void for good. Hmmm. Satisfying  :D)

And finally you cannot believe the attention to detail that has gone into this, the photos do not do it justice, its bloody wonderful, the whole model is magnificent.

I completely agree. Well done Colin and the Andys. A triumph.

I think the only satisfying solution then will be to arrange for all LAFfers to come and play a game on it. Its a drag, but I guess it has to be done  ;D

Absolutely fantastic!

Wonderful watching it being built and I'm sure it was awesome actually getting to play a game with.

Well done chaps, well done!

As I said above, a brilliant and outstanding project! If not another Nobel Price, then at least something like a DSO, KC or VC should be in order, Mr Hammers!?

Or at least make it sticky ...
